Good ideas deserve to happen.
Why we started Tinka.
Building a website is one thing. Keeping it running is another.
After years of building websites for clients, we realised something: the work rarely ended when the website went live.
There were updates to manage, hosting issues to fix, and endless little maintenance requests.
We wanted to change that.
To make building websites easier, owning them simpler, and maintaining them less of a responsibility for the people who create them.
That's why we're building Tinka.
What we believe.
Creating should be accessible.
You shouldn't need to know how to code to bring an idea to life.
Simple is a feature.
Powerful tools don't have to be complicated. Every feature we build should make something easier, not introduce another problem.
Ownership matters.
The people who own websites should be in control of them. The people who build them should be rewarded for their work.
The boring stuff is our job.
Hosting, security, updates, and the technical details that keep websites running. We'd rather you spent your time creating.
Build what people actually need.
We're not interested in adding features just because everyone else has them. If it doesn't help someone make something happen, we question why it exists.

Small team. Big ideas.
Tinka is an independent project created by Clarence A., a designer and developer who has spent years building brands, websites, and digital products.
For now, it's a team of one.
But we're building alongside a growing community of designers, developers, freelancers, and business owners who believe the web should be easier to create for.
And we think that's a pretty good team to have.
